MANAGER RENEWABLE ENERGY

PETROLEUM CORPORATION OF JAMAICA

The Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica, a leading organization in Renewable Energy, is seeking to fill the post of Manager, Renewable Energy to head its Centre Excellence for Renewable Energy.

Core Function

The successful candidate will inter alia, be responsible for leading Renewable Energy initiatives at the National and Regional levels and to meet the renewable energy targets of Jamaica’s National Energy Policy and Vision 2030.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Masters Degree (MPhil) Energy or Energy Engineering with additional training in management and finance.
• At least ten (10) years relevant experience
• Excellent presentation and networking skills
• Demonstrated experience in project management
• Experience working with international and multi-lateral agencies
• Strong negotiating, analytical, decision-making, problem solving and team building skills
• Very good knowledge of Government policies and procurement processes
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• A PhD qualification would be an asset.
